The Travel Bug Bit

Chris and I were discussing about travel plans for second-half 2008 and we did a recap of places that I have been to this year. Then, it dawned on me that I have been quite busy travelling this year.

February 2008: Chinese New Year Trip To Sydney

My family was very lucky to have confirmed our flight tickets during the Chinese New Year period and flew the new Airbus A380 to Sydney. Here are selected pictures from the trip:

April 2008: Bintan Lagoon Resort

I spent 2 nights at Bintan Lagoon Resort to celebrate Chris's birthday. No pictures from the trip because I did not bring my camera along. It was good spending time with Chris at the pool but the resort was 'closed' from civilisation and both of us were quite glad to leave after 2 nights.

May 2008: Tokyo Trip With My Cousin & Brother

I visited Tokyo with my cousin and brother for a week in May. My cousin is currently based in New York and visited Asia for a month. Since her flight back to New York would transit in Tokyo, she suggested a holiday and I brought my brother along (it was the start of June holidays). We visited Tokyo, Hakone and Kyoto in a short space of 6 days under my charge. I am quite glad we did not get lost too many times and we managed to nagivate with my limited Japanese and map-reading skills! Here are the pictures to share:
