Vanity Fair Retrospective

I was looking through my old pictures in my computer when I came across Vanity Fair. Last year this time, I was invited to be a hair model in Toni & Guy's Academy Graduation Show (Vanity Fair) by one of its graduating student, Smita.

The event was held at Centro and there were 5 graduating students. Smita's theme was WHITE (which explains why all her models wore white). It was really quite an experience as they coloured my hair bright pink and red (which I must say, actually looks quite good!) and 15 minutes before the show started, they cut my fringe. Yes, they did. They decided something was wrong with the way I looked and the hairdresser decided to just cut away half of my fringe.

The new fringe was very edgy but in the end, I decided not to keep the look because it was really irritating when the long part of it could not stay in place.

For my friends whom I invited but could not make it, here's presenting...

Hair Show (Blog - 01)

In case you can't spot me, that's me 4th from the right standing in between a guy and a girl dressed in white. Everyone you see dressed in white from head to bottom are Smita's models. For your information, the guy standing next to me is not a Batman wannabe gone wrong colour. All of Smita's male models decided to paint the white thing to make them look cool. (Realise that the 8th person from the right has the white thing too!)

Unfortuntately, that's the only picture that is decent from the hair show. The rest of the pictures are too blurry because my friends who came to support me came late and hence sat too far away to take proper pictures. Plus, it was too dark and there were too many people in Centro anyway.

Here are my friends who came to lend me support:

Close-up of my eyes... Notice the glitter? All of Smita's female models had that, sort of like to be uniform with the guys...

So there's my one night of fame and glory as a hair show model.
