7:00 a.m. - Alarm clock rings and hits the snooze button
7:30 a.m. - Reluctantly drag myself out of bed after hitting the snooze button twice
7:40 a.m. - Bathe and think about what to wear for work
8:30 a.m. - Leaves home with breakfast in handbag
8:35 a.m. - (a)"Damn!" as bus 10 zooms past me or (b)"Damn!" as I break the world record for the 10m sprint to the bus-stop to catch my bus
8:36 a.m. - Close my eyes and try to rest during the journey while CNA morning news plays in the background
9:10 a.m. - Arrive at the office
9:12 a.m. - Take a seat and turn on my computer
9:15 a.m. - Check my email and delete about 80% of incoming email because they have absolutely nothing to do with me (or if they do, well, then too bad)
9:30 a.m. - Still in the process of settling down and contemplating if I should walk to the pantry to fill up my water bottle
10:00 a.m. - Still thinking about my water bottle but too lazy to walk about 45 steps (one way) to the pantry
10:15 a.m. - Start to do work
11:15 a.m. - Feeling thirsty and decides to fill my bottle
1:15 p.m. - Lunch!
2:30 p.m. - Back to work
3:00 p.m. - Feeling very drowsy and trying to fight off not to doze off
5:00 p.m. - Feeling more alert and becomes more productive
6:45 p.m. - Bye to my office
7:20 p.m. - Arrives at my student's house to start tuition
9:30 p.m. - Tuition ends
10:15 p.m. - Eats dinner alone at kopitiam near my house
10:45 p.m. - Reaches home
10:50 p.m. - Lies in bed to rest before bathing
11:30 p.m. - Oops... Fell asleep and didn't even realise
11:45 p.m. - All showered and ready for bed
12:00 midnight - I'm off to bed
REPEAT
Saturday and Sunday
Tuition in the morning and afternoon
So now everyone knows what I have been doing all these days which I have never blogged.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I think the person who came up with this comic is ingenious...
The work which I'm doing at JPMorgan is quite different from what I expected; but then again, I might have expected too much. Or perhaps it's just the department which I'm working at. Perhaps when I know more about the workflow of my department, I'll find my work more exciting.
In the meantime, I spent some time playing around with my Lotus Notes buttons and accidentally discovered a button which brought me to JPMorgan's Personal Web Pages - a directory of all their staff and positions. I was shocked to see mine:
A consultant?! My gosh. JPMorgan really does have a flair for titles. In reality, I'm just on a temporary contract with them for 6 months and they actually gave me the title of a consultant! But that aside, I thought it was kind of cool. Now, I can add that title on my resume.
But most importantly, I'm hoping very hard that my department will get their head count soon so that I will have a chance to be offered a permanent position...
I love you and you alone were meant for me
Please give your loving heart to me
And say we'll never part
I think of you every morning
Dream of you every night
Darling, I'm never lonely
Whenever you are in sight
I love you for sentimental reasons
I hope you do believe me
I've given you my heart
(instrumental interlude)
I love you for sentimental reasons
I hope you do believe me
I've given you my heart
